Turn the tables! Our handmade wooden combs, double skewers and hair sticks offer a wide range of options for individual hairstyles without the use of clips or hair ties. While the hair sticks are turned or made from solid wood, we make skewers and combs from 6-ply glued wood to achieve optimal flexibility and resilience. Even if they are not always cut from the same cloth – the differences between the three hairstyle all-rounders are primarily of a visual nature, because the literal twist behind them always follows the same principle: First, the hair is twisted, put up and formed into a bun with the ends of the hair underneath hidden in the node. The comb, skewer or stick is then inserted through a strand of the knot into the underhair. When using a hair stick, it is also important to ensure that the concave side initially points away from the head when inserting it. For the final fixation, the crucial trick follows in all three variants: the rod, comb or skewer is tilted once around its own transverse axis and then threaded into the knot under the resulting tension. This is the basic variant. Once this has been transferred to the hand and hair, many variations are possible in both the positioning and the way of execution.
