There are some things that cannot be artificially replicated – which is why, at Kost Kamm, we harness the power of natural materials wherever possible. One care product that is almost uniquely natural is the natural sponge. These wonderfully soft skin pamperers were valued for their properties even in antiquity – and remain unrivalled to this day. The fiber of the natural sponge is similar to silk and can absorb and release a lot of water. Unlike artificial sponges, natural sponges do not consist of enclosed air bubbles, but rather a canal system where every pore is connected to every other pore. This leads to excellent hygienic properties, which allergy sufferers particularly appreciate – as dirt is simply rinsed out of the sponge and a long shelf life is guaranteed. In addition to the large natural sponges, there are also the so-called silk sponges, which, due to their compact size and silky-soft feel, are particularly suitable for facial and baby care. The sum of all these properties turns a shower or bath with natural sponges into a sensual experience that refreshes body and mind. And because using nature goes hand in hand with respect and appreciation, all Kost Kamm natural sponges are harvested in the Mediterranean under controlled conditions in accordance with fishing laws.

Care instructions: After use, natural sponges should be rinsed under clear, warm water, squeezed out, and air-dried.
